While Android, Inc. begun operations subtly, today the whole world knows

Origin of Android

Android initially showed up on the radar in 2005 when Google, the multi billion dollar innovation organization, obtained Android, Inc. At the time, very little was known about Android and what Google proposed on doing with it. Data was meager until 2007, when Google declared the world's first genuinely open stage for cell phones. The first android distribution was released on November 5, 2007.The first Android based cell phone was HTC Dream which was released in 2008. As the OS is open-source, it enables the designers to play with the code enabling them to alter the code according to their requirements. The initial two versions were not given any name and just essentially called as Android 1.0 and Android 1.1 and from Android 1.5 particular names were appointed to the OS
